Carl Boyd is an education consultant based in Kansas City, Missouri who founded and hosted the weekly teen radio program “Generation Rap” on 103.3 KPRS-FM. During Kansas City’s school desegregation period he wrote the paper, “A Black Position in Favor of Neighborhood Schools.” This oral history interview was conducted at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Education on June 22, 2017.
