Julian Goff is a Paseo High School graduate who attended Satchel Paige Elementary and Paul Robeson Middle School during the Kansas City Missouri District school desegregation period. Carl Boyd is an education consultant based in Kansas City, Missouri who founded and hosted the weekly teen radio program “Generation Rap” on 103.3 KPRS-FM. During Kansas City’s school desegregation period he wrote the paper, “A Black Position in Favor of Neighborhood Schools.” This oral history interview was conducted at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Education on June 22, 2017.
